An end-of-year show to celebrate a landmark year for YWMP 🫨

Oxford Contemporary Music and YWMP will be holding an end-of-year celebration headlined by YWMP Director Zahra Haji Fath Ali Tehrani, supported by Wone Torin Wenda and DJ Macaroni99, two acts who have developed their performance skills through YWMP’s training and mentoring. The event will take place in YWMP’s newly opened venue, The Nest, on Friday 5th December 2025 at 7.30pm.

YWMP has now been running since the 1990s, offering accessible sessions including sound engineering, DJing, instrumental performance, and songwriting. Most sessions are for young women, trans and non-binary people aged 14-25, with the precise age group depending on the programme. There is plenty to celebrate since 2025 has been an important year for the ongoing development of the project.
