Hannah Lou Larsen - 'Peach Pine Ocean' EP Release Launch Show

Join us for a very special night celebrating Hannah Lou Larsen's debut EP with a release launch at YWMP's The Nest.

Danish Oxford-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Hannah Lou Larsen is releasing her new EP Peach Pine Ocean on 6th February, a genre-bending blend of quirky electro-pop, introspective craft-folk and electronic sound worlds. Initially drawn to music through overwriting cassette tapes of old church sermons with her own found sounds—like a hairdryer and her little brother’s asthmatic breathing—Hannah developed her craft in the Danish grassroots music scene before emerging as a distinctive voice on the UK scene. The ep features the Sylvan Esso-esque 'Move like Rivers' and the cinematic heartbreak-infused 'I'm Sorry'. The songs will be brought to life in new band versions featuring multi-instrumentalists Zahra Haji Fath Ali Tehrani on drums and Jilaine Wheatcroft on synths, and will include guest appearances from various other musicians from the Oxford scene.

With support from:

Bellz Offbeat plays a blend of soulful clarinet and airy flute melodies over smooth, hypnotic R&B-inspired beats, with jazz-influenced expression throughout. A warm and inviting take on modern jazz and neo-soul, inspired by artists like Erykah Badu, Cleo Soul and Hiatus Kaiyote.

Under the alias ‘Lane J’, Jilaine is a DIY songwriter creating music inspired by folk, atmospheric textures and heartwrenching guitar lines. Her work explores vulnerability and creating as a means for self development and expression.

All ages show.
