Join me, Jen Louise Meyer, for a softcover bookbinding workshop.

During this workshop, I'll teach you the skills to make A6 sketchbooks using the Coptic binding method, the oldest binding technique. All materials and tools will be supplied, including a selection of my original linoprints to choose from for your book’s cover. You’ll have the opportunity to make more than one book if time allows.

I'll also talk about how to book bind at home without investing in a lot of equipment and, for those interested in continuing bookbinding on a regular basis, I'll provide an introduction to the specialist tools I use.

This workshop is for adults and teenagers. No previous bookbinding or art experience necessary, just an interest in learning.
