Songs of Hope and Resilience!

Join us for a moving and uplifting day of harmony singing in community! We'll sing songs that connect us to each other in these challenging times, and remind us that we can choose to feel and speak our truth. When we do this together we are more powerful than we realise and can affect the world around us positively! We'll sing songs from the current Singing Resistance movement, and other social justice songs as well as some of our own.

We'll begin by connecting to our bodies and our voices, remembering that joy and pleasure absolutely have a place (and are essential) in this movement! Using rhythm and harmony we will ground into a deeper place in ourselves where we can hear and feel our own wisdom, helping us to build resilience for our current struggles.

"Sometimes you don't know how much you're carrying until you connect with song. It was beautiful, thank you all of you and I look forward to the next meeting." -past participant

We'll connect to the meaning and background of each song we sing, to really be able to bring forth the energy and potential in these songs to create change, first within us, and in our communities. There will be an opportunity to share in small circles about concerns, struggles and what we may have to offer to create more connection in times of division.

The cost for this full day workshop is £35 - £55 sliding scale, with some lower waged tickets available.
