Portals to Home will share a new collaboration, and performance exploring portals to home through waterways.

This project follows on from Iranian-Irish musician Zahra’s activities during an initial project (Hālā) in 2025 exploring Portals to Home. Hālā explored displacement and identity for “Third Culture Kids” (people who were raised in a culture other than their parents' or their country of nationality), involving research, workshops, and original music composition and performances across the UK and Ireland.

Portals to Home - Live from the Nest will share music exploring displacement, identity, and water in all its forms, where it springs, and how it connects and disconnects us.
