audiograft festival is back with three nights of sound art and experimental music, curated by SARU (Sonic Arts Research Unit) at Oxford Brookes University and OCM. The opening night (Thursday) features a double bill of Loomeweight II for one loom and two singers by Patricia Auchterlonie and Hestor Dart, and a performance by Jason Singh and Tamar Osborn bringing together bio-sonification, instrumental textures and electronic processes. The second night (Friday) presents Liv Fontaine, Rainham Sheds and Lene Vollhardt with hysterical guttural sounds, narratives and movement. On Saturday, the festival concludes with sets from Peiriant, Thorn Wych, Li-Chin Li and Zhou Mengting, moving between folk, post-industrial and virtuoso sheng.
