Join us in celebrating the Nest’s First Birthday on Saturday 12th September 2026!

One year ago, we opened the doors to YWMP's independent, inclusive music space in Oxford, created to centre young women, trans and non-binary people and respond to the need for safer, more accessible and representative spaces in grassroots music.

Since then, The Nest has become home to over 180 events and workshops, from gigs, DJ nights and rehearsals to community events. Every event has been shaped by our commitment to safety, accessibility and inclusion, supported by our Safer Spaces Policy and our incredible volunteers.

To celebrate our first year, we're bringing everyone together for a day of community and music, featuring a yard sale, art market, delicious food and live music from R.AGGS and more acts into the evening.

Whether you've been with us since day one or you're discovering The Nest for the first time, we'd love to celebrate with you.
